Description
We a looking for an experienced Tech Writer on the automotive industry.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Technical Communications or Automotive Engineering Technology; will consider equivalent experience in lieu of degree
• Three years experience as a technical writer in the automotive/heavy truck is preferred
• Familiarity in one or more of the following: diesel/gasoline/alternative engines, transmissions, axles, brakes, electrical systems, diagnostics
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ablilty to work independently or with team
• Familiarity with technical repair procedures
• Accuracy and attention to detail
Preferred Skills:
• ASE certified
• SGML/XML
• Arbortext
• Framemaker
• Vis Mockup
This is a contract positions.
Must be able to pass a background check and drugscreen.
