Position: Technical Copywriter with production skills
Location: San Fernando Valley
Status: Freelance

Rate: up to $40 hourly (DOE)
Job Description:
Our client, a medical devices industry leader, has a long term freelance project for a technical copywriter. You'll be creating, updating, and maintaining directions for use, labels, graphics, and specs for new and existing medical device products.
The ideal candidate will coordinate with cross functional teams and ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations, industry standards, and company requirements.
Additional duties include:
- researching & gathering input for labeling from various sources - writing specs requirements for product labeling
- writing and editing label content
- coordinating desktop publishing and translations
- working with teams, to establish and maintain accurate marketing and geographical labeling build configurations.
- enhancing appearance & readability of labels and literature by editing them for grammar, consistency, style, and format.
You may have to jump in on occasion and assist with getting designs to press so the ideal candidate will have experience working with InDesign, Illustrator, and/or designing in Word.
