What We Write About

We write about shopping, consumer issues and entertainment (not celeb, but consumable entertainment, such as movies, tv, games, travel, etc).

Shopping is a major factor in our lives, and the internet is a important source of information for those that are shopping.

We want to help our readers (shoppers) by providing current information and news related to how they spend their money and leisure time

Topics include tech, electronics, home, family, auto, pet, book, and travel shopping. Coupon shopping, internet shopping, and department store shopping. New products, new offers, deals, specials, new movies, tv shows and more.

Your Toolkit

You will need to bring a love of writing, a love of all things shopping and entertainment, and a firm grasp of US English grammar, to the table.

There are several other things you will need as well - such as an Adsense account, an Amazon affiliate account, and you will need to be internet savvy.

If you don't have these accounts, and you aren't internet savvy - that's ok. We will help you every step of the way with personal training and guidance. But hang on tight! You'll be getting a valuable, real life, crash course on how to monetize your online writing. And when you are done, you will have the knowledge, and the tools (including our site), to do just that!

IMPORTANT: Don't run over to Google and Amazon and apply for these accounts right now. If you do not already have your own website, you will need to do some prep work and some writing at NFS before you apply for your Adsense and Amazon accounts. Learn more here.

Things to know

We are only accepting US based writers at this time.

This is not a get-rich-quick scheme by any means. You will need to put in the time writing and learning. Speaking frankly here, not every story you write will earn as much as it should. But others will make more than you expect... and every once in a while one will make MUCH more than you expect. It takes steadily putting out smart stories to be successful.

We ask that writers commit to writing at least one story a day (most stories average about 200 words), five days a week. But that's a minimum. You are welcome (and encouraged) to write more than one story a day. The more you write, the more successful you will be.

Self motivation is important. I'm not going to nag you to write.

We use WordPress, so actual story submission is easy, complete instructions will be provided.
