We are hiring a Game Engineer to be an integral member of the ROBLOX team. You will be matched with and mentored by a senior software engineer from our veteran engineering team. You will get to work on a product with a rapid release cycle. The ideal candidate will be an intelligent, creative person who has a desire to learn new languages and bleeding-edge technology - and a passion to become a gaming guru. We prefer to hire generalists - this position will involve interaction with graphics, user interface, networking, installer, physics, sound, scripting, html/javascript/css, and build system code.
Projects you may work on include:
• Create API's for a user-generated virtual world
• Execute security systems to keep ROBLOX games safe
• Build game designs and frameworks to facilitate new kinds of game play
