Description
Fundraising and Live Event Production firm seeks an experienced writer. Candidate should be able to write and plan logistics for live charity and corporate events as well as copy for all collateral material (e.g. solicitation letters, invitation copy, journal copy, auction catalogue, program remarks etc.) associated with the event. Position requires scripting of speeches and dialogue for hosts, presenters and honorees as well as all related research and communications, including event run of show.
Candidate will be responsible for taking the project from inception through last minute on-site changes and will also be responsible for communicating all said changes to clients, staff and technical vendors. In addition, candidate will be responsible for coordination of the script with all supporting screen graphics used at our multimedia events. This will include the supervision of our screen graphics personnel in the creation and proofing of these support graphics. Candidate will work as part of a fully staffed professional event and production team; depending on scope of event the team could include account manager, creative director, stage managers, production manager ASM, floor director, etc.
This is a four plus month ( Sept. 15- Dec. 15) commitment working on various projects, with an average work week of 20-40+ hours based on changing work load with Oct. 1 - Nov. 15 being the busiest time period.
