Job Board >> Writer for Game
|Company Name||Wall Street Survivor|

|Listing Type||Hourly Rate|
Wall Street Survivor, the web's most popular fantasy stock market game, is reinventing the way people learn about personal finance and the stock market. We are looking for a writer to help lead this charge.
A part-time freelance writer to create original content for our website in the form of personal finance courses.
You love story telling. You love explaining things to your friends. You think one sentence is better than three and you can clearly get your point across on paper.
You like working in a startup environment with less structure and much more responsibility. You have a sense of humour, and are able to incorporate it into your writing style.
Well here's what you got to do:
1) Send me an (attention grabbing) email. I don't want a boring one-liner saying "I hereby submit my application". If you're creative, then show me.
2) Include your C.V. in said email
3) Include a writing sample explaining the basics of a mortgage. I'm looking for someone who can show they've got the ability to write with the Wall Street Survivor voice. So your explanation should cover two main things:
a. It should be a very SIMPLIFIED breakdown of what a mortgage is. (Pretend a 14 year old just asked you, "What's a mortgage?")
b. It should be ENTERTAINING. Grab my attention and keep it. Find a way to make mortgages fun!
I'm looking for the best of the best to fill this position. So show me what you got!
