When was the last time you did a search on Google for a solution to a problem and got results from Yahoo Answers? I don’t know about you, but I know that I don’t really like clicking on those results as I usually get answers that are not useful.
Of course, Google had to create something similar, and being Google, they took things to the next level.
Enter Google Helpouts.
To be honest, I don’t really use Google Helpouts, and maybe you don’t either. It might just be me, but the service has not become a household name – yet – although it has been around for a while now.
Google Helpouts is basically a platform where you can get “help”, or answers, to specific problems or questions from people who are knowledgeable in the area or niche related to your question. That solves the problem of getting answers that are useless.
There three main points to Google Helpouts:
- Find help. You ask questions. Experts will give you answers.
- Choose help. You can choose which person to receive help from based on his/her qualifications and availability, as well as reviews.
- Pay for help. Some Helpouts are free, but you have to pay for some.
