Optimize Your Database
Weblog Tools Collection has a tip for optimizing your WordPress database tables. As Mark mentions several times, backup your data first. My database currently holds 1,174,948 records and is 167 MB. I don’t use any spam recording plugins so this does not include any spam records. It’s mostly traffic stats. Crazy.
