Requirements

Requirements

  • You’ll enjoy producing articles, features, and long-form pieces that are simply a joy to read.
  • You will be able to elucidate the difference between different layers and critically assess new products and user cases.
  • You’ll also be interested in web3 and have a sense of what makes your $BTRST tokens valuable to someone!
  • Our client is open to writers who can write multiple stories a week as well as those who can only write monthly or longer pieces ad hoc.

What you’ll be working on

Our client is looking for multiple writers and journalists to write about either cultural contributions or web3 products; all will be invited to contribute to their communities segment too.

But what unites all their writers is a love of writing, and writing well.

You will be deeply interested in how the future of the internet is being built on web3, leveraging distributed ledgers, blockchain, and smart contract technology. You’re keen to cover the web3 builders who offer innovative solutions that improve how their societies and economies work. For you, writing that is a joy to read is full of insight and critical thinking – and a fair dose of storytelling.

About Our client

Our client is a web3 cultural media house. They want to show the vitality of web3 creators, the communities that web3 makes possible, and how web3 developers are building the future of the internet. Their belief is that web3 is going to change the world, but right now it’s easy to dismiss as a scammer’s paradise: their mission is to make sure that the web3 change is good. By offering a mature, culturally meaningful, and authoritative observation of web3, They’re going to be a hub for thoughtful comment and will help consumer brands build their web3 offering in a safe and genuinely meaningful way. Think Conde Nast meets Wired meets web3.

You’ll have significant creative autonomy and will be able to specialise in whatever you find interesting, covering the innovations that you think are especially significant, though they’re also happy to help on the story ideation front.

ABOUT THE HIRING PROCESS:

Qualified candidates will be invited to do a screening interview with the Braintrust staff. We will answer your questions about the project, and our platform.  If we determine it is the right fit for both parties, we’ll invite you to join the platform and create a profile to apply directly for this project.

C2C Candidates: This role is not available to C2C candidates working with an agency. But if you are a professional contractor who has created an LLC/corp around your consulting practice, this is well aligned with Braintrust and we’d welcome your application.

Braintrust values the multitude of talents and perspectives that a diverse workforce brings. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, national origin, religion, age, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or protected veteran status.
