eChalk, Inc., the leader in online educational solutions specifically designed for K-12 schools and school districts is currently looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic professional Writer on a contract basis to perform technical writing, proposal writing, and potential copywriting that differentiates us from the competition.
eChalk provides product documentation and manuals to all clients with how-to and help information on our latest software release. This documentation includes a comprehensive user/management manual, specific feature manuals, and quick tip guides. Users range from experienced technologists to technology novices and our documentation must speak clearly to each extreme as well as the audiences within that range. Our technical documentation also includes images and other formatting treatments that are expected to be maintained and improved by the technical writer in order to produce the final documents.
We are seeking a person who is detail-oriented, able to meet deadlines. Previous experience with technical and proposal writing is required.
