FUSSY is for women who flinch at the idea of apologizing for themselves. We exist at maximum volume. Giving the world all of womanhood is our revolution.
We’re interested in writers who are layered: rebellious and sophisticated, venomous and loving, unpredictable and controlled. Writers exhausted from performing one version of themselves while sacrificing the others.
We publish work that is honest about what it feels like to exist as you in the world and what that says about the state of it. Every piece must carry a point of view, whether personal, reported, or critically observed. Complexity is appetizing. You can loathe it and obsess over it. Resolution optional.
