Annemarie van Veelen

I’ve completed a Master’s degree in International Literature. Afterward, I’ve worked freelance for several publishing companies. My task was to make sure that all writing was flawless.

Then I became the Chief Editor for JoHo, an international company that produces content about studying, business and psychology. For this company, I was responsible for 5000 publications annually. My responsibilities were improving quality, curating content for a specific target audience, giving feedback on grammar and writing style, and doing the final editing.

After five years as a Chief Editor, I wanted to focus more on writing instead of editing. So I became a freelance writer. I like to write about all kinds of subjects, including travel, insurance, finance, business etc. I mostly get hired to write about psychology and spirituality, which is awesome too. I’m looking forward to the next challenge!
