Hello! My name is Ashley Pickus and I recently graduated summa cum laude from Binghamton University.
It should come as no surprise that I love writing as a double major in political science and English rhetoric (we don’t have a journalism or communications degree). I also minored in writing studies!
While studying at BU, I wrote for the student-run political science magazine, Happy Medium, and contributed to Pipe Dream, our student newspaper. In my senior year, I interned with the Athletic Communications Department and helped cover our Division I teams by writing press releases, game previews and recaps, and managing social media accounts. I have also written for NYS Music as part of a summer internship.
