Experience / Education / Qualifications
After obtaining a Journalism degree from the University of the Philippines- Diliman in 2017, I have worked primarily in print media — where I got to learn from several experts from various fields and industries. My stories have been published in respected publications such as BusinessMirror and INQUIRER.net; working for the latter marked the first time I wrote for an online news organization. You may access my outputs for INQUIRER.net here: https://entertainment.inquirer.net/byline/dale-calanog As an editor, I primarily dealt with educational materials, Science textbooks in particular, during my two-year stay at Abiva Publishing House, Inc. I also briefly reviewed and verified the content of business-related transcripts when I took on the role of Editor 2 at FactSet Philippines, Inc. Furthermore, I was given the opportunity to work for an international development organization, The Asia Foundation (Philippine Office), for which I provided writing and editing support as a consultant. One of my projects with the organization is co-editing a research paper by Prof. John T. Sidel on urban transport reforms in the Philippines. You may view the research paper here: https://asiafoundation.org/publication/crisis-as-catalyst-introducing-urban-transport-reforms-in-the-philippines-amidst-the-global-pandemic/
