Experience / Education / Qualifications

I am Gabrielle Juliet T. Suazo, 31 years old, and a permanent resident of Casili, Consolacion, Cebu. In 2020, I successfully completed my baccalaureate study in Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English at University of Cebu-Banilad.  I began my career way back in 2012 where I devoted my time to the school publication. From 2012 – 2014, I worked as a Literary Editor at The Thumb (now known as Umalohokan), the official student publication of University of Cebu-Banilad. My duties and responsibilities involve collecting literary pieces and compiling them to be published in the school magazine. Moreover, I also create and edit literary outputs that are to be publicized through the school magazine. After which, I was elected to be its next Editor-in-Chief from 2014 up to 2017. My main role as the Editor-in-Chief was to check all the articles that are to be published in the school magazine, making sure that the topics discussed were aligned to the magazine’s theme. Additionally, I convene with the Technical Adviser and Moderator to discuss important matters regarding the school magazine, before finalizing and submitting it to the linkage for mass production.

While performing my duties in the student publication, I also became a Teacher Aide at Ralph M. Baladjay the Baptist Institute Incorporated from June 2014 to May 2017. As a Teacher Aide, I assisted the classroom adviser in handling various classroom activities, delivering lessons, and performing assessments to check the student learning progress. Time management became my ally while I was simultaneously doing my studies, part-time job as Teacher Aide, and being in the school publication. However, it allowed me to acquire various skills that greatly helped me as I navigate through life’s journey.

After which, I became a Recruitment Officer at Purple Chalk Philippines from April 2018 up to August 2018.  My main role was to call and assess different candidates that are fit for the position offered by our client partners. Aside from that, I was also tasked to record the names of the applicants under the Excel file so we can easily track their interview process. Later on, I was hired as an ESL Teacher at K and P Global Tech from September 2018 up to February 2019. My main role was to provide English lessons to Korean students of all ages. After my short stay at K and P Global Tech, I transferred to BCM Manila from April 2021 up to August 2021. My tasks and responsibilities include calling my Korean students and providing 10-minute English lessons with them through their mobile phones. Additionally, I was also tasked to provide grammatical corrections, similar expressions, and transparent feedback to my students.

As I completed my studies, I rejoined my previous company Ralph M. Baladjay the Baptist Institute Incorporated from August 2021 up to September 2022 as a Classroom Adviser. As a Classroom Adviser, my responsibilities include creating lesson plans by integrating various classroom management strategies and techniques, and formulating different assessment tools to track the student’s progress. Just recently, I was employed at EXCA – Executive Education Migration and Visa as a GTE Writer. My main role was to enhance and check the Genuine Temporary Entrant’s (GTE) completeness, coherence, conciseness, and clarity.

With the goal of gaining more experience and exposure in Content Writing, I looked for a greener pasture and was successfully hired at Newfold Digital as a Content Writer. I started working as a Content Writer Associate for Web.com from July 2024 until May 2025. My role was to create blog posts while integrating SEO best practices.

In May 2025 as well, I was promoted as a Content Writer for the APAC brand. In this role, I was tasked to create several types of content such as product banners,  storefront assets, EDMs, and case studies. Through this experience, I became more exposed to other types of content aside from blog writing.

With my 11 years  of work experience, I can say I have garnered and developed different transferable skills such as communication, collaboration, flexibility, and adaptability that would greatly help me work well with other clients in the future.
