Ogochukwu Bibiana Ossai, a Nigerian fiction writer based in Atlanta, Georgia. She earned a Ph.D. Fiction degree from Texas Tech University and holds an MFA from Long Island University, Brooklyn, where she received the Marilyn Boutwell Graduate Award in Fiction. Her writing has been supported by prestigious fellowships and scholarships, including Anaphora Literary Arts writing residency, the Hatty Fitts Walker Scholarship from the Fine Arts Work Center, Provincetown, The Poetry Project, and an Idyllwild Arts Writers Week fellowship. She was recognized as a longlisted finalist for the 2024 Dzanc Poetry Prize contest, 2023 Uncharted Voyage anthology 2 and won the 2019 Equinox Journal Poetry Contest. Her works have been featured in The Kalahari Review, African Writer Magazine, The Dark Magazine, and Flash Fiction Magazine, among others.
