I helped the Metro Atlanta Chamber produce a Metro Exports Plan that won a major local award. The work was sponsored by the Brookings Institution and JP Morgan Chase. I just completed two assignments for Georgia Trend: a profile of former Atlanta Mayor Shirley Franklin and a story about the evolution of FinTech into a major industry in Georgia in which Atlanta and the state are a world leader in transaction processing. I led a project for Atlanta’s transit agency, MARTA, to promote 35 years of combined bus/rail service. The project involved writing video scripts to interview 10 Atlanta area business and political leaders on camera. Among the people interviewed: former President Jimmy Carter and former Civil Rights Leader and US Rep. John Lewis.
