For 10+ years I’ve had the privilege of supporting mission-driven brands through my skills as a writer, editor, storyteller, and brand strategist. My professional experience includes directing editorial content at the global nonprofit buildOn; interviewing, researching, and writing about complex medical information for general audiences at Stand Up To Cancer; leading a team of writers and designers as Digital Copy Editor for the world-renowned John Paul Mitchell Systems, and much more.

As a freelance writer my clients have included: Peter Greenberg Worldwide (in collaboration with Oprah.com), Alicia Silverstone / The Kind Life, Farm Sanctuary, Nicora, Realtor.com, Refinery 29 with PETA, Green Child Magazine, and more. I received my MFA in Screenwriting from the American Film Institute Conservatory (consistently named one of the top 3 U.S. film schools), and my BA in Communications from California State University, Fullerton. I also have a background in teaching students of all ages from preschool to college and beyond.
